RECOMMENDED TRAVEL DATES:
The couple will be in Puerto Vallarta January 22nd to 28th. Guests should plan to arrive on or before January 23rd for the wedding. For guests invited to the rehearsal dinner, please arrive on January 22nd. We recommend all guests depart on January 26th or later.

AIRPORT:
Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport also known as Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR). PVR is appx 30 mins from Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta.

TRANSPORTATION FROM PVR TO HYATT ZIVA:
1. Uber - less convenient, cheapest option.

You CANNOT get an Uber from the airport, they are not allowed in. If you choose to take an Uber, walk out of the airport (AVOID EYE CONTACT WITH EVERYONE…keep walking), take a left, and cross the long Pedestrian Bridge. The Pedestrian Bridge has up and down ramps that are steep and may be difficult if you have a lot of luggage. Ubers are generally cheaper than taxis, but in this area you can also find local taxis that are cheaper than the airport specific taxis. Appx $15-20 for 4 people to the hotel. 

2. Airport Taxi - most convenient, more expensive.

When you get out of Customs, take a right through the dreaded timeshare section (DO NOT MAKE EYE CONTACT…keep walking). When you go through the doors, into the Arrivals Terminal, head for the Exit. There will be 3 Official Taxi Booths, located all together, immediately to the right of the Exit Doors. We used Aero Movil. Buy a voucher at the booth (they take card, pesos, or dollars). Once you have a voucher, you will go outside to the appropriate taxi line and wait for your car. Appx $30-$35 for 3 people.  

3. Private Transport - if you have money to burn, and don’t want any hassle.

We recommend Superior Tours. They are a well-established and respected local transportation company. You can arrange pick up ahead of time, if preferred. https://superiortoursvallarta.com/vallarta-airport-transfers. Appx $90 for 6 people to the hotel. 

 

Accommodations

The couple will be staying at Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta from January 22nd to 28th in the Club Tower.

We warmly invite everyone to stay with us for as long as you feel comfortable. If you can’t stay long, we recommend staying at minimum January 23rd to the 25th.

Family-friendly all-inclusive resort and spa.

We highly encourage everyone to stay at the same hotel to maximize our time together. We have reserved a limited number of reduced-rate rooms as apart of our wedding block. If staying with the wedding block, you must stay January 23rd to 26th, at minimum. Reduced rates are guaranteed 1 day before and after these dates if you would like to extend your stay. Longer extensions are possible but added dates are not guaranteed at reduced prices and are subject to hotel availability.

It is very important to note that January is a month of high demand so please book early to ensure availability!

How To Book

To make a reservation in our room block, simply follow the link below.

PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST PUT IN JAN 23 - JAN 26 FOR THE DATES AND SELECT ONE OF THE AVAILABLE ROOMS.

If you would like to extend your reservation, upgrade rooms, or upgrade to the larger and more renovated Club Tower, please email the hotel concierges with your confirmation number and requested changes.

FAQS

  • Absolutely! However, reduced room rates are only guaranteed for Jan 22-27. Additionally, it is subject to hotel room availability. So the SOONER you book, the more likely you won’t run into a problem. Here’s how. Click on the “Book Now” link, reserve your room category of choice for January 23-26. Then email one of our two Hotel Concierges: Antonio or Alejandro citing Kimmi & Brendan Wedding, your confirmation number and the dates that you actually want to book. They will email you back a confirmation shortly.

  • Absolutely! Please first book a Main Tower room and then email our hotel concierges at antonio.bazan@hyatt.com and/or alejandro.venegas@hyatt.com with your confirmation number to request your room upgrade to the Club Tower. This is subject to availability, so please book your room and send your email request in PRONTO.

  • There may be occasional deals online that are cheaper than our room block, but those are usually in short supply.

  • While we strongly encourage everyone to stay at the Hyatt Ziva with us, you are welcome to stay somewhere else though you will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the venue.

  • To complete the room reservation a credit card will be required, however, this is just a step to complete the reservation procedure since nothing is charged to the credit card. The full balance of each room reservation will be collected thirty (30) days before the first night of the Room Night Commitment. Should payment not be able to be processed, the Hotel reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
